01Purpose and scope
These terms govern the hiring of A&C Studio's services: website design and development, publication and, optionally, ongoing support.
Our services are designed for businesses, freelancers and professionals. If you hire us as a consumer, the rights granted to you by law also apply (see section 15).
02Quotes and hiring
- Every project starts with a written quote (by email or WhatsApp) detailing what is included, the price and the estimated timeline.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- The contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing.
- Fixed price: the accepted price does not change, unless you ask for work that was not included, which will be quoted separately and only carried out if you approve it.
03Prices and third-party costs
- The prices published on the website are launch prices and may change in the future, but the price in the quote you accepted is always honoured.
- Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT.
- Domain: registered in your name and paid directly to the registrar (usually €10–20 per year).
- Hosting: the website is published on Cloudflare Pages' free plan, with no monthly cost to you.
- Any other paid third-party service (booking systems, stock photos, etc.) is only purchased with your approval and is at your expense.
04Payment
- Free visual proposal: before you pay anything, we show you what your website will look like. If you don't like it, you don't pay.
- 50% when you approve the design, to start development.
- The remaining 50% when the website is finished, before it goes live on your domain.
You can pay by card or Apple Pay through Stripe (from the link we send you or our payments page), by bank transfer or by Bizum. You will receive a receipt for each payment. Monthly support, if hired, is paid monthly in advance; pay-per-request support is paid after each request.
05Delivery times
We work fast: most websites are ready within 3 to 7 days. Each quote states its estimated timeline, which starts once we receive all the material needed (texts, photos, logo, business details). If material or answers are delayed, the timeline is extended accordingly.
06What we need from you
- Provide your content and business information on time.
- Ensure you have the rights to use the photos, logos and texts you give us.
- Check that the published information is accurate and lawful (prices, opening hours, allergens, promotions, etc.). You are responsible for that content.
07Changes and revisions
- The design includes 2 rounds of changes before approval.
- After the website goes live you get 30 days of free minor tweaks (texts, photos, opening hours, small adjustments).
- After that, changes are covered by ongoing support (monthly or per request) or a one-off quote.
08The website is yours
Once paid in full, the website is yours: the final design, the delivered code, the content and the domain in your name. You can move it to another provider whenever you like, with no lock-in or penalties, and we will hand over the files if you ask.
A&C Studio retains the rights to its tools, internal templates and general know-how, which it may reuse in other projects.
09Hosting and third-party services
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a third-party service. A&C Studio is not responsible for outages, changes in terms or decisions made by that provider, but will help you resolve any issue or migrate the website if necessary.
10Ongoing support (optional)
If your business needs frequent changes, you can add ongoing support in one of two ways, at the price published on the website when you sign up:
- Monthly: fixed fee, no lock-in. Includes all the small changes you need and a regular review of your website. It is charged automatically every month through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from “Manage my subscription” on our payments page; it stays active until the end of the month already paid and you won't be charged again.
- Per request: you only pay when you ask for something. Your first 3 requests are free.
A request is each ask for a small change (texts, photos, prices, opening hours or products) or each question about your website that we resolve. Larger jobs, such as new sections or a redesign, are quoted separately.
11Warranty
For 30 days after launch we fix any technical error on the website free of charge. The warranty does not cover changes made by third parties or new content or features.
12Cancellation
- Before approving the visual proposal: you can cancel at no cost.
- After approving the design: if you cancel, the first 50% is non-refundable, as it covers the work already done.
- If A&C Studio is unable to finish the project, it will refund the amount paid for work not carried out.
13Portfolio and credit
We may show your website in our portfolio and include a small “Website by A&C Studio” credit in the footer. If you prefer it not to appear, just ask in writing.
14Data protection on your website
If your website collects your customers' data (for example through a form or bookings), you are the data controller. We provide basic legal texts, but you must review and adapt them to your business. When A&C Studio accesses that data to maintain the website, it acts as data processor under Article 28 GDPR.
15Liability
We optimise every website so that Google understands and shows it, but no one can guarantee a specific ranking or sales volume. A&C Studio's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
16If you hire us as a consumer
If you hire us personally and not for your business, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. If you ask us to start work before that period ends and then withdraw, you will pay for the proportion of work already done.
17Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of A&C Studio's domicile, unless you are a consumer, in which case the courts of your domicile shall apply.
